Swati is also associated with Saraswati, the goddess of music and learning. Swati is ruled by Rahu and entirely in the sign ruled by Venus. While it is great for socializing, one must be very careful since Rahu is the planet of insatiable desires, and Venus is the planet of luxury and sensual pleasures, one can easily be swept away by the wind and overindulge. The presiding deity, the Wind God, Vayu has a son named Hanuman, who is famous for being Lord Ramachandra’s best devotee. Even though he was instructed to deliver Rama’s ring to Sita, after performing his service, he then let himself be captured. After the fools lit his tail on fire, he proceeded to burn down Lanka, Ravana’s capital. He is a great example of using Swati energy positively: get your business done quickly and have some fun.

Interesting  observation

Swati natives also have a tendency to wait for a long time to witness the result of something they have planned or executed and this characteristic of Swati natives can sometimes become a negative quality as natives under the strong influence of this nakshatra can keep on waiting for something or some result for a very long period of time, even when there is no reasonable possibility of materialization of that thing or result. And since this nakshatra is more under the influence of air than any other element, so the natives under the strong influence of this nakshatra are also likely to have an inability to take decisions on time, inability to convert or put their ideas to practical work or execution even though their ideas may be very practical and can bring very good results if executed.
