Ashlesha Nakshatra

As its direct translation, “entwiner” suggests, Ashlesha is symbolized by a coiled snake and its presiding deity is Sesha Naga, the Divine Serpent on whom Vishnu lies down. As a snake freezes its pray with a fiery gaze, these people  can capture and rise above competitors. In addition to its fierce nature, Ashlesha is ruled by Mercury and lies entirely within the sign of Cancer, ruled by the Moon. This combination of planets illuminates one’s cleverness, sharpness and intuition: strategize how to present an innovative idea at a meeting; to  plot something against your opponents; it  is  advisable to  study mystic subjects like Kundalini Yoga etc. Anything that has to do with fire or snakes is recommended, and any rituals related to these have more potency for  Ashlesha people . These  people are  not   good at  business or finances.

Ashlesha’s Special Power : "Visasleshana shakti" means the power to inflict poison.
Ashlesha people are expert at catching the enemies and rising above them. These natives have both the contradicting potencies of strong material attachments and spiritual enlightenment and they have a constant internal fight to choose between them. Most natives of this nakshatra are guided by the potencies of Rahu and few could transcend to the real of spiritual enlightenment, and liberation from the cycle of life and death. This can also be related to the dormant coiled serpent which rests in the base of the spine (meru-danda) and also known as the kundalini shakti. It is understood that the energies at the muladhara chakra, the lowest among the 7 chakras, are quite gross and material and the energies become subtle and spiritual when the kundalini shakti rises towards the crown chakra or the Sahasrara.
As represented by the dormant kundalini shakti (the serpentine energies), these natives are secretive and do not like to share their inner thoughts to the outside world.
The word Ashlesha is combination of “a” (No) “shlesha”(balance) . This means no remains/backlog etc.
So People born in this Nakshatra have to repay most of their karmic debts in the current lifetime. As karmic bonds are strong with close relatives like parents, children & spouses , they experience extreme good/bad effects with respect to these relationships.
However, if they turn spiritual in later part of life , they have excellent chance of progress and moksha
