Saturn

some one asked me 'As a person interested in astrologer which is your fav planet ; I answered It is Saturn.[Shani]
Now, most people would be surprised as Saturn is usually linked to miseries, darkness and hardship. But my choice of favourite planet is backed by some strong and logical reasons.
Back in school, most likely you had one teacher who was very strict. Almost everyone of us had one. You disliked him (or her) because he always wanted to teach you discipline. All his efforts were dedicated towards teaching the value of doing the right things. He strongly insisted on - If you have a choice between something which is tough but morally right and another thing which is easier but morally wrong, choose the former.
Whenever you did something good, he rewarded you well. On the other hand, if you did anything wrong (especially intentionally), you were punished hard. Whether reward or punishment - there was absolutely no bias. You often used to wonder - Why can’t he just be lenient and easy going like the other teachers? Why can’t he just reward for good work and ignore your acts of indiscipline?
But when you grew up, you realised he was right. May be a bit strict but he taught you the right things at the right time. He taught you the value of discipline, the sense of right and wrong. You are glad that you learnt these early on in life. If you hadn’t, life would have made you learn them forcefully at later stages and in a much tougher manner. Like they say - A teacher teaches first and then takes the exam but life takes the exam first and you learn as a result.
In Astrology, that strict teacher is Saturn. People often have to face the wrath of Saturn because they don’t follow the righteous path. If you do the right thing (good karma), it can reward you beyond imagination. Saturn rewards as per your effort and punishes mercilessly
